This web page was created as a FREE tool to help an individual prepare for the ARRT’s CT Certification Exam. The content of this page consists of questions, pertinent to the CT Exam, organized by sub-topic (see above). In conjunction with my schooling, training and other sources I also used The CT Registry Review Program - Fourth Edition, which is produced by a company called Medical Imaging Consultants, Inc. (MIC), as a reference for some of the questions in the question sets above. I strongly recommend the MIC Coursework for anyone seeking to obtain CT certification with the ARRT. You may contact MIC by calling 1-800-589-5685 or by going to their web site at http://www.micinfo.com/index.xml

How to use this page.

This page should be pretty much self explanatory. Just click on a sub-topic question set located above and begin going threw the questions. I find the question/answer format used here to be one of the best ways to study this type of information. you don’t waste any time flipping back and forth in a book and therefore get the most “Bang-for-your-Buck!” I hope these questions help you with your studies and good luck on your test!

Question Sets in Word Document Format

You can download the question sets that I have typed up in word document format below. These will be posted untill I can get the questions converted to the testing format found above

We need a good study guide for the registry- I suggest you keep your questions the the registry itself. Your typing in answers and 5/8 or3/5 questions are confusing. I look forward to more question entered. Thank you

Love the website! I am planning on taking the registry at the end of November and am always looking for a good study guide. I am currently working as a CT Tech. I used the MIC to study. Do you think this is enough to pass the registry? When are you expecting to have more questions up on your site?

    Thanks

This is my first time on your website and it appears to be a great asset. Do you plan on having someone provide information on how a MDCT unit works? i.e., detector arrangment, auto ma, importance of correct positioning. This type of basic information is not readily available.

  15. Tracy — August 31, 2009 @ 12:37 pm

I began building a new home about a year and a half ago and, unfortunately, it has taken up all of my spare time. But, the project is finally nearing completion and I am once again going to try to start posting new study questions. Thanks for all of your patience!

  40. Simone — November 16, 2009 @ 5:54 pm

    Hello everyone,
I will be sitting my Ct registry in January, can you successful ct technologist recommend a good book to study from.

  41. Calvin Sphuler — November 16, 2009 @ 6:27 pm

    Josh…
Look in the right hand column under the heading “Sectional Anatomy”. You will find two links to a couple of great sectional anatomy sites; E-Anatomy.org and Anatomy Wiz!.

  42. Calvin Sphuler — November 16, 2009 @ 6:37 pm

Simone - I believe that the most efficient way to prepare for the CT exam is to get a copy of MIC’s “CT Registry Review” and go through it. Then get a copy of a good sectional anatomy book like those listed in the CT Guru Store and go through that. After you feel comfortable with those two items use some of the CT registry review questions located on this site and you will be more than ready to pass the CT exam!

    Hope this helps! :)

  43. Stephanie — November 18, 2009 @ 3:43 pm

  69. Jeremy — March 1, 2010 @ 11:56 am

Hello! I have seen some folks ask for used MIC Review Guides. I am also looking for one, but has anyone been successful? If anyone has a recent edition please contact me at jkkflash@hotmail.com. Thanks!

  70. Baby — March 6, 2010 @ 3:55 pm

I have MIC Reg. Review with the study guides included. Will attempt to take the registry at the end of this month and if I pass it, I will no longer need the MIC Reg. Review. I will let you know. Not sure what year it is. I’ve head it for few months. It has the 2002 copy right symbol on it. BTY I am not very impressed by it at all. Not sure that if you study just from this you will pass the ARRT registry.
