Hello, and welcome to CTguru.org!

The Guru:

When I was 8 years old my father became an x-ray tech and shortly there after cross-trained into CT. I used to go with my dad on x-ray and CT call-backs growing up so I could watch cable television in the waiting room! I am now a Registered CT Technologist, podcaster, video producer, and family man. Producing CT Guru is a great way for me to combine three of my passions: Computed Tomography, technology, and education.

The Website:

This is a website that is totally devoted to Computed Tomography! I am creating this site primarily as a resource for all CT Techs out there, new and old alike. It will be featuring, educational presentations and videos as well as updates on current events in CT. As I start creating content I will be focusing on the basics of CT. Specifically, I want to create an online learning environment where aspiring CT techs can go to learn everything they need to know in order to pass the ARRT’s certification exam for Computed Tomography! I have some really cool ideas for this site and hope to be adding more content soon! But, in the meantime feel free to browse through some of my posts and explore the great CT links found in the left hand column!

The Education:

In 2005 I obtained an Associates Degree in Radiographic Science from Lewis-Clark State College and just recently finished up a Bachelors Degree in Radiologic Science with an emphasis in Computed Tomography from Boise State University. I have scanned in three states, six different hospitals and imaging facilities and have been exposed to a variety of different scan protocols and equipment.
